Portfolio Monitoring

Job Purpose :
To execute overall activities related to product portfolio monitoring in order to ensure objective evaluation. Monitoring and review of the product portfolios of each segment owner. Being direct liaison for end-to-end discussion on changes on the portfolio or pricing.

Main Responsibilities :
- Pricing & Product Change Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison for end-to-end discussions related to product or pricing changes, ensuring all proposals are supported by data-driven analysis and aligned with company strategy. Coordinate discussions with segment owners for any pricing/product change Objective Evaluation & Review
- Conduct regular and independent evaluations of product portfolios, assessing the impact of new product launches, pricing adjustments, and product modifications. Link internal data (yield, business case,…) together with external data (competitors) in order to build summarized recommendations for Business owners. Portfolio Product Performance Tracking & Monitoring
- Track and analyse product portfolio performance across all segments to ensure alignment with business objectives, profitability targets, and market positioning. By creating/updating product portfolio alignment file and product catalogue and historical changes. The product catalogue & product portfolio alignment file contains internal and competitor products.
- Create Portfolio Assessment for each new product proposal or changes and provide feedback on how the new product or product changes proposition compare to internal and competitors. - Provide track & monitor pricing of competitor products all channel. Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and deliver periodic portfolio monitoring reports that highlight on how each of our regular product portfolios of each brand compare each other and vs. competitors’. Complete picture of our product portfolio in the RO and all channel vs. competitors.
- Highlight any potential inconsistency amongst our product portfolios (e.g. High denomination packets with less value for money than low denomination packets; Incompliance of differentiation amongst different brands,…) - Highlight how changes in internal & competitor’s portfolio affect our desired position in the market and provide recommendations to senior management and segment owners.
- Provide with performance trends, key issues, and actionable recommendations for management and segment owners. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate discussions with segment owners for any pricing/product change.
- Work closely with Segment, Product, Finance, and Yield Management teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and timeliness in product portfolio evaluations and decision-making.
- Lead Ad hoc project & requests to develop e.g pricing level strategies, create concept of dashboards by coordinating with cross-functional teams such as AI, IDM, BAI, Channels, and other related teams.
