Telco SBP & Architecture
Job Purpose :
To partner with all stakeholders in translating requirements into scalable telco security architectures, provide strategic advisory on security risks and technology decisions, and design, plan, and implement secure 2G–5G network solutions. To lead telco security initiatives that strengthen enterprise resilience and support national telecommunications threat investigation.
Job Description:
1. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable telco security architectures aligned with business objectives.
2. Design and govern end-to-end secure 2G–5G network architectures across Core, RAN, Transport, OSS/BSS, VAS, IoT, and NFVI.
3. Provide strategic security advisory on risk, architecture, and technology decisions to senior stakeholders.
4. Architect and oversee signaling security solutions to protect critical assets and customers.
5. Lead assessment, deployment, and lifecycle management of key telco security platforms (e.g., Signaling Firewall, PAM, EDR/NDR, Anti-DDoS).
6. Lead regular telco security assessment program covering Signaling (SS7, Diameter & GTP-C), OSS/BSS, External/Internal Pentest, NFVI (Core & VAS), RAN and UE
7. Establish and execute the annual telco security roadmap, prioritizing controls that strengthen enterprise and network resilience.
8. Ensure all new telco network elements, servers, and devices comply with the Minimum Baseline Security Standard (MBSS).
9. Support security operations, threat monitoring, and incident escalation, including contribution to national telecom threat investigations.
