UX Researcher

Job Description :

  • Plan and conduct end-to-end user research using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including user interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, focus groups, diary studies, and usability testing.
  • Identify user needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points to inform product strategy and user experience decisions.
  • Develop research plans, discussion guides, screeners, and research protocols aligned with business and product objectives.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights, clearly communicating recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain UX research artifacts such as user personas, empathy maps, customer journey maps, and experience maps.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure user-centered decision-making.
  • Validate product concepts, prototypes, and new features through formative and summative usability testing.
  • Support product discovery and continuous improvement by conducting exploratory, evaluative, and generative research.
  • Establish and maintain a repository of research findings, best practices, and user insights to support knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote the integration of research into product planning and development.

 

 

Requirements :

 

1.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Sociology, Design, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX Research, Human Factors Research, Customer Experience Research, or a related role.
3.Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, ethnographic research, and contextual inquiry.
4.Experience designing, moderating, and synthesizing user research studies from planning through reporting.
5.Ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for product teams.
6.Familiarity with UX design processes and experience collaborating with UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams.
7.Experience using UX research and collaboration tools such as UserTesting, Maze, Dovetail, Lookback, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Miro, Figma, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
8.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9.Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence product decisions through evidence-based research.
10.Good command of written and spoken English.
