Role Summary:

We are looking for a Data Strategist role to act as a critical bridge between business objectives and data capabilities. In this role, it is expected that you have a deep understanding of data in XLSMART while coming up with strategy and business requirements to define how our data will become a valuable growth. Translation of various complexity of business needs into actionable data strategy and roadmap, ensuring generated insights supporting Company Key Objectives.

Bridge the gap by translating high-level business requirements into Business Requirement Document (BRD) and technical data strategies that the engineering team can execute.

Deeply analyze internal business processes to identify opportunities where data intervention can drive efficiency or revenue.

Define and align key business metrics (KPIs) with data analysis frameworks to ensure the business is measuring what truly matters.

Develop and maintain a data strategy that directly supports the company’s long-term commercial goals.
Lead data-centric initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders from Data Management, Data Analysts, AI Team, IT functional team, Business users and High-Level Management.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in a strategic field or business partner role

Experience in leading at least 2–3 end-to-end projects that result in measurable business growth or operational efficiency.
Excel in drafting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Technical Specifications.
Understand data lifecycles, data governance, and AI/Machine Learning fundamentals (enough to converse with the AI team).
Expertise in tools like Jira, Trello, or others for meticulous project tracking.
